Seated Exercise
For strength, flexibility and balance.


About the sessions:
Using chairs and other props for support, this fun exercise class will help improve flexibility, balance and strength, while you make new friends.
Sessions last for 45 minutes, with an opportunity for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat at the end!
All ages and levels of ability welcome, just bring yourself and an open mind.

Sessions run at four locations: Aston Clinton, Stoke Mandeville, Wendover and Weston Turville.
All classes cost £3 per session, please pay for your session in cash when you arrive, and contact Amelia via Amelia.Evans@aitc.org.uk, 07399 748803 ahead of your first session to ensure your space!

Meet Our Seated Exercise Instructors:

Jan
Wendover & Aston Clinton Sessions
Jan has a background in the health service and trained as a yoga teacher 7 years ago. She teaches mixed ability, gentle yoga, chair yoga, and exercise classes in care homes, across Buckinghamshire. She is passionate about the benefits of exercise to improve the well-being of body and mind.

Caroline
Weston Turville & Stoke Mandeville Sessions
Caroline was a PE teacher for primary school children for nearly 18 years. She continued her development training as a Pilates Teacher, Personal Trainer and an Otago Fall Prevention Teacher. She now teaches mixed ability classes in homes, in classes and at her home studio. After working at a gym in a retirement village and being a carer, she is passionate about helping older adults and making everyday activities a little easier whilst promoting fitness and wellness.
