What to expect:
Designed for older adults who want to improve strength, balance and flexibility at a comfortable pace, with an emphasis on breath, posture and relaxation.
Ideal for anyone looking to stay active, build confidence and keep their body moving with ease, whether you are a beginner or have previous yoga experience.
Please note: participants should be able to get on and off the floor independently, as the class includes both floor and standing poses.
How to join the classes:
Sessions run on Thursdays, 11:15am – 12:15pm

What to bring:
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Wear loose, comfortable clothing such as leggings or tracksuit bottoms, with layers you can add or remove as needed, and bring a bottle of water.
If you have them, you’re welcome to bring a cushion or blanket, a yoga belt (or a simple alternative such as a dressing gown belt), and yoga blocks, though these are completely optional.
Meet Your Instructor: Jan
Jan has a background in the health service and trained as a yoga teacher 7 years ago. She teaches mixed ability, gentle yoga, chair yoga, and exercise classes in care homes, across Buckinghamshire. She is passionate about the benefits of exercise to improve the well-being of body and mind.
