What is Staying Active, Staying Connected?

Staying Active, Staying Connected (SASC) supports adults aged 50+ to become more active by connecting them with welcoming programmes, activities, and community spaces local to them. The aim is simple: to make it easier to find opportunities that suit your interests, ability and lifestyle.

As part of this project, we will be running FREE events throughout the year in Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Chesham. These events are designed to help you discover enjoyable ways to improve your health and wellbeing, meet new people, and find a physical activity you love. Supporting a longer, healthier and more connected life!

What to expect at our events

Our FREE events offer a friendly and relaxed environment where you can try out a variety of physical activity taster sessions led by experienced local instructors. They’re a great way to try something new and discover activities you might enjoy continuing in the future.

Alongside the sessions, there’s plenty of opportunity to socialise, meet others, and enjoy a drink and some food together. We also provide information about other local opportunities, with representatives from community groups and activity providers on hand to share what’s happening in your area.
