Women Only Swimming Aylesbury

Our women only swimming lessons are perfect for everyone wishing to be active and learn to swim with confidence, in a private and comfortable environment. With female instructors and lifeguards only, these sessions are run for women by women.
Sessions are packaged as a series of 10 separate weekly swims, focusing on core skills of swimming and water confidence. Our range of classes mean there is something for everyone, whether it is your first time in the water or if you want to lane swim.
These sessions take place on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings – a full class timetable can be found under ‘Book your Space’ section below.
These sessions provide a great opportunity to learn to swim whilst adhering to religious beliefs. However, all women of any background are welcome to join these sessions!

Support Women’s Only Swimming in Buckinghamshire
Help Us Provide a Safe and Inclusive Space so every woman has the chance to Swim
In Buckinghamshire, over 80% of the women participating in our Women’s Only Swimming Project are unable to swim in local pools due to their religious beliefs. Many of these women have never had the opportunity to learn to swim, missing out on the physical and mental health benefits of being in the water.
By donating today, you can help us provide private, safe, and culturally inclusive swimming sessions, allowing women to enjoy the water, improve their well-being, and learn a vital life skill in a comfortable environment.
Why This Project Matters
For many women in our community, swimming is not just a form of exercise—it’s an essential life skill that can improve health, confidence, and social inclusion. However, cultural and religious barriers mean that standard mixed-gender swimming sessions are not an option.
With your support, we can:
✅ Hire private swimming facilities where women can swim without being seen by men
✅ Provide qualified female instructors to support beginners and experienced swimmers alike
✅ Offer subsidised sessions for women facing financial hardship
✅ Empower women with water safety skills to protect themselves and their families.
Your Donation Will Make a Difference
💙 £10 – Covers the cost of a swimming session for one woman
💙 £25 – Helps provide swimwear for those who cannot afford it
💙 £50 – Supports the training of a female swim instructor
💙 £100 – Contributes to hiring private swimming facilities
Every donation, no matter how small, helps to create a space where women can swim freely, gain confidence, and improve their well-being.
